I never really thought about meeting authors until getting into blogging.
I think I’m going to go ahead and sort these into true “all-time” favorites and newer favorites who have the potential to become all-time favorites!

The Magician’s Land is the final book of The Magicians trilogy, written by Lev Grossman. Be careful—spoilers ahead for The Magicians as well as (probably) The Magician King.
You may remember from my review of The Magicians that I called it “Harry Potter, The College Years.” That would probably make The Magician King “Harry Potter and the Quarter-Life Crisis.”
The Magicians is like Harry Potter, The College Years, with a healthy dose of Narnia, and a dash of soap-opera drama for good measure.
